One of the most common problems in time management is the so-called “stuck” tasks, that is, those tasks that are chronically not completed. The idea is this: Change the wording of the task so as to increase the chances of its completion. For this technique to work, you need to understand why the task is “stuck”. Most often we deal with four situations: Situation 1. Large or complex task (split). Situation 2. Unpleasant and difficult tasks (simplify). Situation 3. Fuzzy task (specify). Situation 4. Unpreparedness for the task (prepare). Advice Flag stuck tasks. Each time you reschedule a task for tomorrow, add a checkmark to it. A task that is often delayed will soon begin to “signal” that something is wrong with it and that the “reframe” technique needs to be applied.
