China completes world's tallest bridge

In China, the world's tallest bridge over the 625-meter Huajiang Canyon has been completed, setting a record for the longest span in mountainous terrain. The megastructure, 2890 meters long, weighs a massive 22,000 tons and has been under construction since 2022, costing about $300 million. Final tests are now being completed. Traffic is expected to open by the end of September.
