Bright Meteor Illuminates Japan's Night Sky

Japan's night sky was illuminated by an incredibly bright meteor - according to witnesses, it was almost as light as day in some places. The cosmic rock, approximately a meter in diameter, partially burned up in the atmosphere, sparkling with blue and orange flashes, while its remnants fell somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
