Google is building a nuclear power plant to supply its data centers, which operate with AI. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the startup Kairos Power: a 50-megawatt reactor will be located in Tennessee (USA), and it is planned to be operational by 2030. After that, there will be an expansion to increase power tenfold by 2035. Microsoft also plans to launch its own nuclear power plant, which should be operational in 2028.
