Radioactive Isotopes Introduced into Rhino Horns to Deter Poachers

August 7, 2025

Radioactive isotopes are being introduced into the horns of rhinos in South Africa to protect them from poachers. This will help catch smugglers crossing borders and, in the long term, make hunting rhinos pointless.
