The analysis of more than 1.4 thousand tomographic images showed that the system successfully recognized hidden, aggressive tumors, often masked by dense tissue. According to Harvard University Associate Professor Manisha Bahl, the AI accurately identified not only the presence but also the boundaries of tumors, confirming its potential as a second opinion tool. Scientists believe that integrating AI into mammography will enhance diagnostic accuracy and help timely identify the most dangerous forms of cancer.
