Complications of COVID-19

The risk of blood clots after COVID-19 has been identified. Swedish scientists have found that the risk of deep vein thrombosis (occurring most often in the legs or pelvis) increases five times within three months after infection. Particularly susceptible to the appearance of blood clots were people who were ill with a severe form of coronavirus, as well as those who have chronic diseases. Complications of COVID-19
