Scientists Defeat Type 1 Diabetes

Scientists have defeated Type 1 diabetes - the new drug Zimislecel can cure 10 out of 12 patients with the most severe form of the disease. After the injection, there is no longer a need to take insulin - the cells start producing it on their own in safe amounts. Soon, this drug will be available to millions of people with diabetes.
