Two deadly viruses found in bats in China

Two new deadly viruses have been found in bats in China - they cause brain inflammation and severe lung diseases. The bats inhabit areas near orchards, close to human settlements. Infection is very easy: through fruits that rodents have touched. But the most frightening thing is that these animals cannot be exterminated - they protect gardens from pests.
