Tesla Launches Branded Robotaxi

Tesla has launched a branded robotaxi with a fixed ride price of $4.20. It currently operates only in certain areas of Austin, where the company’s headquarters is located, and the fleet consists of dozens of Model Y with backup staff in the cabin. However, by 2026, a fully autonomous Cybercab with no steering wheel or pedals is promised.
