VIVA LA RESISTANCE
[Psychology]

Sometimes the desire to rescue others is not about kindness but about avoiding one's own problems. In psychology, the rescuer syndrome is seen as a form of altruistic behavior. However, it can also have negative aspects. People with rescuer syndrome often ignore their own needs, becoming emotionally and physically exhausted. They feel constant anxiety and stress because they cannot help everyone all the time. But true care for the world starts with oneself. Give yourself the love and attention you so generously give to others. Find a balance between attending to your own needs and those of others. Remember, caring for your personal well-being is not selfishness, but the key to your ability to effectively help those around you.
