The Thai police have unveiled the 'AI Police Cyborg 1.0', equipped with 360-degree cameras with facial recognition. The robot has already been tested at the celebration of the local New Year. It can detect the presence of weapons, identify fights and disturbances, and recognize suspects by their face and body build. The robot's cameras are connected to a command center and use video analytics to monitor safety at mass events.
