Robot Goes Out of Control and Attacks Engineers

A robot went out of control and attacked engineers. During a test at a Chinese factory, the industrial robot being tested suddenly began to act off-script and injured two engineers. One of the injured is in critical condition. An investigation is currently underway: programming errors, a failure of the object recognition system, or malicious interference are being considered. This is not the first AI incident in China, and it heightens concern about the safety of autonomous systems in manufacturing.
