Scientists have invented an implantable male contraceptive with a two-year shelf life. Specialists from an American company specializing in the creation of contraceptives have developed a new product - a non-hormonal contraceptive implant with an effective duration of at least two years. It could be a good alternative to vasectomy and condoms. Technically, the development «Adam» is a hydrogel that gradually decomposes in the body. According to the scientists, the gel is implanted into the vas deferens, preventing the mixing of semen and sperm.
