SpaceX Conducts First Crewed Flight Over Both Poles

April 4, 2025

The SpaceX team of space tourists has completed the first ever crewed flight over both poles of the Earth in a single orbit. Previously, only the Soviet 'Vostok-6' in 1963 came close to this goal, but Crew Dragon flew more precisely, on an unexplored trajectory with an unprecedented inclination of 90°. Besides the flight, the Fram2 mission will monitor the aurora, study sleep problems in orbit, and attempt to grow oyster mushrooms on board.
