Boosting Energy Levels

April 2, 2025

We get energy from two sources – food and air. It is produced by mitochondria – small power plants in every cell of the body. Most mitochondria are found in the muscles. Without complex biochemical details, food contains various nutrients. Under the influence of oxygen, which we inhale, they are oxidized in the mitochondria and converted into energy. What needs to be done to increase your energy level. 1. Limit sugar intake: starchy foods, high-grade flour products, sweets, fast food, snacks. Such food destroys mitochondria. 2. Be physically active. Physical activities strengthen muscles = stimulate the formation of mitochondria. They also increase oxygen flow. 3. Provide the body with the nutrients necessary for the functioning of mitochondria.
