Elon Musk plans to implant vision-restoring neuroimplant

Elon Musk has stated that he is ready to implant a vision-restoring neuroimplant in a human this year. He claims that with his Blindsight module, even a completely blind person will be able to see. Initially, the vision will be "at 144p", but then the technology will be improved to a "superhuman level".
