BYD builds a mega factory in China

Chinese company BYD is constructing a mega factory in Zhengzhou with an area of 130 km² - larger than San Francisco, Paris, and Barcelona. Upon completion, the project promises a nearly complete city with residential areas, football fields, shopping centers, and other infrastructure for more than 100,000 employees. The factory will annually produce over a million electric cars, with construction expected to be completed in 2025-2026.
