United Airlines Flight Diverted Due to Pilot Error

A United Airlines aircraft was turned back after two hours of flight because one of the pilots forgot to bring their passport. The flight was from Los Angeles to Shanghai and was supposed to last 14 hours, with 257 passengers onboard. As a result, the plane had to be directed to San Francisco, where the crew was replaced, and passengers were given meal vouchers worth $30 - due to all the delays, they arrived six hours later than scheduled.
