First carbon-14-based nuclear battery created in China

A world-first carbon-14-based nuclear battery has been created in China. Zhulong No. 1 from Wuxi Beta Pharmaceutical Technology can operate for thousands of years. The development adapts to extreme temperatures from -100°C to +200°C, boasts an ultra-high energy density of 2200 mWh/g, and has a capacity loss of less than 5% over 50 years.
