The Thai Polar Light

Off the coast of Thailand, a special 'Thai polar light' can be observed - it comes from fishing boats, whose lights are visible even from orbit. At night, numerous boats turn on powerful green lamps, attracting plankton, followed by fish and squid. Sometimes there are so many that almost the entire sky over the water is flooded with green.
