Tattoos Cause Cancer

Scientists have proven that tattoo ink triples the risk of developing lymphoma. According to the Danish Twin Tattoo Cohort study, twins with tattoos are more often diagnosed with skin cancer and lymphoma compared to their non-tattooed siblings. Ink accumulates in lymph nodes, causing chronic activation of the immune system and inflammation. A particularly high risk is observed in those with large tattoos (bigger than a palm).
