Scientists from Japan have found two things that will permanently rid you of insomnia and improve sleep: protein and fiber. 4,900 players of "Pokemon Sleep" helped discover that your proteins, fats, and fibers directly affect sleep time and quality. Let's remember: Protein. Participants who consumed more protein during the day slept 10-12 minutes longer. It's abundant in eggs, meat, fish, nuts, and milk. Fiber. An increase in dietary fiber was directly linked to faster sleep onset and longer sleep duration. They can be found in fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Scientists also noted: participants who ate a lot of fatty foods slept on average 6-10 minutes less and woke up more frequently during the night.
