A Citigroup bank client temporarily became the world's richest person, surpassing Elon Musk. The bank mistakenly transferred $81 trillion to the client instead of $280. The transaction of this amount was approved by two employees. A third employee noticed the error only 1.5 hours after the transaction and canceled it. The bank does not have such a large amount of free money. It has only $1.3 trillion in deposits.
