First Disabled Astronaut Admitted to the ISS

John McFall lost a leg in his youth but did not lose heart - he became a Paralympic sprinter, won bronze at the Beijing Games, and then trained as an orthopedic surgeon. Soon he will be able to travel to orbit as a full-fledged astronaut.
