The Tenzing-Hillary Airport (formerly known as Lukla Airport) is located in Nepal and is popular among mountaineers due to its proximity to Everest. Its only runway is just 527 meters long, with an incline of 12%. On one side there is a cliff edge and on the other, a mountain.
