Drug simultaneously effective against cancer and HIV discovered

A drug effective against both cancer and HIV has been discovered. Scientists from Stanford University have found that the compound EBC-46 is effective against both diseases. It is already being used for tumor treatment and is soon to be employed in immunotherapy against HIV.
