British surgeons removed a brain tumor through the patient's eye socket. The innovative surgery saved the life of a 40-year-old woman who had been suffering from severe headaches. Now, only a small scar near her eye reminds her of the medical intervention. The operation lasted three hours. Prior to conducting it, the surgeons practiced the procedure using 3D models replicating the shape of Cavia's skull.
