In a small Japanese village called Hidaka, the world's thinnest paper is made - only 0.02 mm thick, which is about half the thickness of a human hair. It is made from the fiber of the paper mulberry by only ten employees, and its main customers are restorers who restore antique books, paintings, and documents for the most prestigious museums, including the Louvre in Paris.
