Camembert Cheese Boosts Brain Functions

Japanese scientists have proven that Camembert cheese enhances cognitive functions and overall brain performance. This is linked to the presence of three key components in Camembert: unique mold Penicillium camemberti; specific acids formed during fermentation; and substances promoting the growth of neuron numbers. The research was supported by tests on mice: in all subjects, Camembert protected the brain vessels from the effects of fatty foods, stimulated protein production, and improved memory.
