Shifting Perspectives

Today in our social issues class, our professor picked up a black book and said, "This book is red." And we all were like, "No." He said, "Yes, red." And we again: "That's not true." He turned the book around, and its back cover was red. He said, "Don't tell someone they're wrong until you see the situation from their perspective."
