First Baby Born in Peru Using New Egg Maturation Technology

In Peru, the world's first child was born using a new technology for egg maturation outside the body at conception. In regular IVF, patients undergo a 14-day hormone therapy, but by transferring the egg maturation process to the laboratory, the procedure was reduced to 3 days and the number of required injections by 80%. The use of the technology has already been approved in Australia, Japan, Argentina, and beyond.
