China Successfully Launches First Batch of Guowang Internet Satellites

China has successfully launched the first batch of Guowang internet satellites into orbit. The launch was carried out using the Long March 5B heavy-lift carrier rocket from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan province. These are the first of 13,000 satellites that will be built and launched by 2034.
