For infatuation, love, or passion to occur, a person must, as they say, 'catch on'. And it is by no means a perfect body or beautiful hair that catches on (except perhaps for the first moment, at which everything may end). Unconsciously, something from the past catches on: an association, similarity, smell, gesture, timbre of the voice, a word, some detail reminiscent of the parental home. This association doesn't necessarily have to be happy. And against this, all tricks, plastic, and clothes are powerless. Powerless are heaps of images and masks. What catches on is what remains forever in memory, reviving lived moments.
