Google Opens First Wooden Office in California

Google has opened its first wooden office in California. The five-story building is entirely made of compressed wood and, according to the company, will leave a 96% smaller carbon footprint compared to similarly sized structures made of steel and concrete. It houses 900 workspaces and covers an area of 16,954 m².
