Rare Asian Elephant Born in U.S. Zoo

A rare Asian elephant calf was born in an American zoo. The 34-year-old elephant named Shanti from Texas gave birth to the adorable little one. The calf has been named Kirby, and he is now one of the few who can save his species from extinction. There are only about 50,000 Asian elephants left in the wild, so every new calf is extremely valuable and precious.
