Neuralink Gets Approval for Chip Implantation in Canada

The company Neuralink has received approval to implant its chip in a patient in Canada. Representatives of the company reported that the operation was authorized by Canadian health authorities this week. The University Health Network complex in Toronto was chosen as the location for the operation. Currently, candidates are being sought among patients who have lost mobility in all four limbs due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or spinal cord injury.
