Scientists Beat Aggressive Cancer Forms

Scientists have learned to defeat the most aggressive forms of cancer - they have invented a drug that specifically destroys the 'harmful' parts of DNA that cause tumor growth. During the study, 15,000 patients with 39 different types of tumors were examined - the result was the discovery of 'extrachromosomal DNA' (ecDNA). It turns out that ecDNA helps cancer cells grow uncontrollably, and the scariest part is that it cannot be treated by conventional methods. Researchers are anticipating - the new discovery may pave the way for completely new treatment methods.
