Harvard Scientists Develop Neural Network for Cancer Diagnosis

October 23, 2024

Scientists from Harvard have invented a neural network that diagnoses cancer with 96% accuracy. The model is very flexible: it can work with 19 types of cancer, recommend treatment methods, and predict the survival probability for each. This is a major revolution - AI can see malignant cells where humans cannot. Nevertheless, scientists are already working on an improved version that will be able to detect cancer at super-early stages, when treatment is most effective.
