Alien Life Possible on Mars

It was believed that life on the planet was impossible due to the deadly radiation from the Sun. However, NASA scientists have found that microbes and plants could exist under a layer of ice on the surface of Mars - the ice could have acted as a shield for living organisms that feed on light energy. The authors of the study do not claim that there is or ever was life on Mars. However, the planet will now become a key location in space for the search for any form of life.
