NASA Launches Europa Clipper to Search for Extraterrestrial Life

October 15, 2024

NASA has launched the Europa Clipper space station to search for extraterrestrial life on Europa, a moon of Jupiter. Beneath Europa's icy surface lies a vast unfrozen ocean, twice the volume of all of Earth's oceans. It is believed that single-celled organisms may exist there - the station will verify this. The spacecraft was launched into space by a SpaceX rocket and will reach its destination in April 2030, after traveling approximately 2.9 billion kilometers.
