1. You are overly attentive to your partner’s needs and desires to the detriment of your own. You walk on tiptoes, both literally and figuratively, just to avoid upsetting them. You probably behaved the same way with your parents, and now – unconsciously – at home and with your friends and colleagues. You prefer to stay quiet and keep your opinions to yourself to not rock the boat, justifying the bad treatment towards you with “I’m being too sensitive again”. All these are signs that you are not listening to your inner voice. Every time you doubt – “Is it okay for me to be upset about this?” – you ignore important things your inner voice is saying.
