Apple shared user data and actively cooperated with authorities of various countries, according to a report by Surfshark. Over a decade, the company approved 82% of requests for information disclosure. For comparison, Google and Meta agreed to 73% of such requests, while Microsoft agreed to 67%. The majority of requests come from US and EU authorities, accounting for 58% of the total from 2013 to 2022. Most of the requests are related to criminal investigations.
