China is creating a Starlink analogue. Recently, the first batch of satellites for the future constellation, which will be managed by Shanghai Spacecom Satellite Technology, was launched. According to China Securities Journal, the launch took place in the city of Taiyuan, where the corresponding launch site is located. The satellite constellation development program has been in operation since last year and involves the deployment of approximately 15,000 communication satellites into low Earth orbit.
