Mediapart accuses Nestlé of selling bottled water with fecal bacteria

The Mediapart research agency has accused Nestlé of selling bottled water containing fecal bacteria. Company representatives have already rejected the published figures and the calculation method. The investigation claims that since the 1990s, Nestlé has been filtering contaminated water from the sewage system using methods banned in France and selling it as natural mineral water. The fraud amount over the past 15 years is estimated at €3 billion.
