China's BYD to Build Billion-Dollar Factory in Turkey

China's BYD will build a billion-dollar factory in Turkey. It will begin operations in 2026 and will produce approximately 150,000 vehicles annually, which will help bypass European and Turkish customs duties. Additionally, BYD plans to open factories in Hungary, Latin American countries, Indonesia, and South Africa. At the end of last month, the company started production in Uzbekistan.
