Denmark to Introduce Tax on Cow and Pig Flatulence

Denmark is set to introduce a tax on cow and pig flatulence. Farmers will have to pay the tax. The rate is 300 kroner for each ton of carbon dioxide from the farm. One cow produces about 6 tons per year. This is how Denmark aims to combat global warming. The law will come into effect by 2030.
