Truck drivers in Japan may be replaced by conveyor belts

In Japan, truck drivers may be replaced by conveyor belts spanning the entire country. Authorities are contemplating a 500-km belt between Tokyo and Osaka, which could transport as many containers as 25,000 drivers. They plan to spend 10 years and $25 billion on constructing the ambitious project.
