The World's Most Powerful Wind Turbine Is Built in Guangdong Province, China

The most powerful wind turbine in the world has been constructed in Guangdong province, China. It is estimated to generate about 72 million kWh annually, providing energy for approximately 36,000 homes. Each of its blades measures 126 meters in length, covering an area of 53,000 square meters, which is equivalent to seven and a half football fields. It is said to save up to 22,000 tons of coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 59,000 tons per year.
