Unmanned cargo delivery drone tested on Everest

A unmanned cargo delivery drone was tested on Everest to aid climbers. The drone delivered three oxygen tanks and 1.5 kilograms of other supplies from the base camp to an altitude of approximately 6,000 meters in just 12 minutes. On the return trip, it transported used mountaineering equipment. The drone has a maximum carrying capacity of 15 kilograms. It will facilitate high-altitude mountaineering, rescue operations, and environmental protection efforts.
